Q: My employer signed my employment contract, which I got to know after the medical test. I got cheated because my offer letter salary was higher than the labor contract. I do not want to continue with the employer. How to appeal a civil case judgment if it was based on a forged document?
Q: Hi all professionals, I lost a civil case against a fraud immigration consultant based in Dubai on 14 March 2024. I was the plaintiff and I had paid AED 24600 to him for migrating to Canada. He submitted a forged document on 7 Dec 2023 with his memo. I replied to that and submitted the original document which I received from the government of Canada the same document which this company had forged. Despite that, the court gave the judgment based on the fake document submitted by the defendant, and it is the final judgment. Can I claim compensation from my husband for emotional and physical abuse?
Q: Good day everyone. We got married under Sharia Law in Dubai Courts and it is now 3 years with no kids. I have been suffering and enduring physical and verbal abuse throughout the marriage. But I just continued to stay in the hopes that my husband would change. I never thought of divorce because I was blinded by love and the concept of keeping our marriage sacred and with respect. Now, my husband has filed for divorce and his reason is our marriage will not work because of what he did last year (adultery). I felt so blank because I am jobless at the moment and can`t work as I am suffering emotionally and mentally. He will just leave me like this. My last resort is to be compensated for the damages I got, emotionally and physically. For proof, I have WhatsApp messages, a police report of the physical abuse (case closed), and a paper that shows a booking with his name and a woman when he traveled to a different country (to which I found out about the adultery).
