Can I cancel an apartment I bought an get refund if the developer did not provide the requirements?
Q: Hello, I made an EOI payment for one project with a developer in Dubai. In the agreement, it says if the seller is able to allocate the unit similar to the buyer’s requirements, in this case, it’s not refundable. However, I am not happy with the unit and it doesn’t meet my requirements. For example, the view of the unit and the fact that it is on the last floor, the last floor doesn’t work for me although I requested a high floor. And the unit has a city view although I requested a garden/park view in the EOI. At this point, I canceled the purchase and asked for a refund to which I got a response that according to the terms and conditions of the EOI, it is not refundable which is not correct. How to report a lawyer if he is not communicating with me?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I had an accident and was diagnosed with a spine fracture. A lawyer came to me, and I don`t know where he got my number from. I needed to give him a power of attorney (POA) while I was on my sick bed, because he said he could not proceed with my case without it. Fast forward, a judgment was passed in my favor, but he never told me. He would never call me, and if I called or texted him for updates, he wouldn`t reply. He later went for an appeal without my knowledge. Now, the case has been in execution for the past two months, and he is still refusing to pick up my calls for updates or any information on my case. He has not been transparent or fair with my case. I called their office line today, and the administrator said they have finished with my case, so the lawyer is supposed to do what is expected of him. هل يحق لطبيب ثبتت براءته مقاضاة المشتكي ومطالبته بالتعويض؟
س: السلام عليكم، اشتكى شخص طبيبًا لدائرة الصحة مدعيًا وجود خطأ طبي حصل في علاج ابنه وذكر في شكواه أن ثلاثة مراكز طبية أقرت بوجود خطأ طبي. حققت دائرة الصحة وأرسلت لها المراكز الطبية الثلاثة أنه لا يوجد أي خطأ طبي وأن الطبيب المُشتكَى ضده عالج بمهنية عالية ولم يحدث منه أي خطأ وتقرير الصحة متوفر. بعد صدور التقرير وفوات مدة الاعتراض أو الاستئناف تمت معاتبة المشتكي فقال أنه رفع شكواه ضد المركز الطبي وليس الطبيب، ولكن اسم الطبيب هو الوحيد المذكور في التقرير والوحيد المُشتكى ضده. السؤال: هل يحق للطبيب مقاضاة المشتكي ومطالبته بالتعويض؟ وما المدة بعد صدور التقرير؟ نأمل في ردكم. وشكرًا! أسئلة وأجوبة

(Roughly 6,500 dirhams worth of goods were stolen.over four times. He has maintained his position of guilt from the beginning. In April 2023, I served the tenant with an eviction notice due to my plan to sell, which means he has until April 2024 to leave the apartment. The contract stipulates that he is liable for two months` rent for early termination. The tenant has informed me that he wishes to leave immediately and is demanding a refund of rent paid for the entire remaining period of the contract.
