I would like to know how to clear my police record due to a legal case that was closed 1 year ago.
I need to clear it in order to be able to get a job position.
If the case was closed one year before, you may need to obtain a clearance from the police.
This certificate states whether you have any criminal record at the time of issuance.
Companies may require this clearance while processing the visa.
If you need further assistance or clarification, you may ask.

Hello,
If the case has been closed and the judgment is final, this will be mentioned in the case status as closed.
However, police and prosecution records cannot be deleted from the system.
You can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate (Good Conduct Certificate) confirming that there are no current cases against you.
In all cases, the existence of a previous closed case does not affect your eligibility for any job position, as long as the case is finished and you hold a valid Police Clearance Certificate.

Thank you for reaching out. This is Fawzia Mohd, a lawyer and legal consultant.
If your legal case has been officially closed for over a year, it may be possible to clear your police record depending on the nature of the case and how it was resolved (e.g., acquittal, settlement, or completion of sentence).
To proceed, we would need to:
- Verify the status of the case in the system.
- Confirm that no active restrictions or legal effects remain.
Submit an official request to clear or update your record, which may involve applications to the police or public prosecution, depending on the emirate where the case was filed.
If you wish, you can appoint us through a Power of Attorney (POA), and we can take care of the full process on your behalf to ensure your record is cleared and that you're eligible for employment.
Please feel free to contact us on WhatsApp or by email to get started.
Dear Sir,
To clear your record from the police system, you can submit a request (rehabilitation) in accordance with the law after the period specified in the law has passed.
We can assist you with this. If anything else is required, don’t hesitate to contact us via email or call our offices in Dubai or Sharjah.

Dear Questioner,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Regarding the above, you will need to request a Police Clearance Certificate to verify the status of your record.
If the case was closed and no conviction was involved, the record may not be a barrier to your job application.
If the police record still reflects the case, you can initiate a formal request for record clearance.
Please let me know if you'd like assistance with this process, and I can help you with the necessary steps.

Under UAE law, you can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Public Prosecution or relevant authorities after ensuring that the case has been fully closed.
