I have a deportation from Dubai for overstaying. Can I return to the UAE if the system shows an escape report?
I had a deportation from Dubai for overstaying, but they didn't take my fingerprints or eye scan.
The officer at the airport said I can return after 6 months. Is this possible?
Recently, I checked on the ICP smart services reports option and there is an still escape report from immigration after a year.
Hello,
If you were deported from Dubai for overstaying without a fingerprint or eye scan being taken, it’s possible that you received what’s known as an "administrative deportation" rather than a formal "permanent ban."
Typically, overstaying without criminal involvement is considered a lesser offense, and such cases can sometimes come with a temporary re-entry restriction (often 6 months to 1 year) rather than a permanent ban.
We can assist you in checking the status of your ban. For a detailed discussion kindly share your Whatsapp number.
Re-entry to the UAE after deportation can be complex and depends on various factors, including the reason for deportation as overstay, the duration of the ban, and any outstanding legal matters.
We have to check with immigration regarding if any permanent ban has been imposed on your name.
After getting confirmation we will let you know how to handle the situation.
Kindly share your WhatsApp number to discuss this further.
Dear K.,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Before we can initiate the legal process of a travel ban check, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) to represent you before government authorities and police stations.
To facilitate the notarization of the POA, please provide the following documents:
* A copy of your old and new passport
* A copy of your Visa
* A copy of your Emirates ID
Once we receive these documents by email, we will draft the POA in both English and Arabic. We will then send it to you for your review, signature, and return.
Afterward, we will submit the POA to the federal Notary Public for notarization. The Notary will provide a link for a remote meeting with you, during which your original passport will be verified and you will sign electronically.
You will cover the notary's legal fees and obtain a digital copy of the notarized POA. Please note that the notary's fees amount to USD 140.
Upon receipt of the digitally notarized POA, we will conduct a check on your criminal record system in the UAE to ascertain if there are any criminal cases, travel bans, arrest warrants, or execution files registered against your name.
This process typically takes about four working days, and our professional legal fees for this service are USD 320.
Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
Best regards,
Mo. Salah

Dear questioner
Sometimes the deportation will be for 6 months also it may get extended, however, if the system is showing an escape report/ absconding report then this can be removed within this December.
If you need further clarification, kindly share your Whatsapp number.
While there was an indication from an officer that you could return after six months, the existence of an escape report complicates matters significantly.
It is essential to address this issue directly with immigration authorities before attempting re-entry into Dubai.
Thank you for reaching out regarding your deportation from Dubai due to overstaying.
It's encouraging that the airport officer mentioned the possibility of returning after six months. However, the presence of an "escape report" in the ICP Smart Services system indicates an unresolved issue that could hinder your re-entry.
To address this matter effectively, I recommend the following steps:
Verify Your Status: Confirm whether you are listed on any UAE immigration blacklists or have an active deportation order. This can be done through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) or the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP).
Resolve the Escape Report: An "escape report" typically signifies that a sponsor has reported you as absconding.
It's crucial to clear this report to avoid complications during future travel to the UAE. This process may involve contacting your former sponsor or coordinating with UAE immigration authorities.
Apply for Re-entry Permission: If a deportation order exists, you must obtain special permission to re-enter the UAE.
According to Article 28 of Law No. 6 of 1973 on Entry and Residence of Foreigners, a deported individual may not return without special authorization from the Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.
Given the complexities of UAE immigration laws and the potential impact on your future travel plans, it's advisable to seek professional legal assistance to navigate this process effectively.
Please feel free to contact me via WhatsApp, phone, or email. I am here to assist you in resolving this matter and facilitating your return to the UAE.
