How to deal with delaying salaries by the employer and false accusations of theft?

Can I ask for advice?

First, my employer didn't pay my salary on time and it's too much delayed.

Second, I didn't give a day off.

Third, she threatened us to pay for her lost sunglasses, even though we didn't know where they were and what they looked like.

We've been searching for it, but we couldn't find anything. She said she would cut the amount from our salary.

Dear.

You can file a complaint with the Ministry of Labor against your employer, telling you what happened to you and demanding that she pays the late wages if they were deducted from your salary.

Hello,

In the UAE, employers are legally required to pay salaries on time. Delayed payment can be reported to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

Employees are entitled to a day off each week as per UAE labor law.

Domestic workers may have specific regulations, but generally, regular rest periods are required.

Employers cannot legally deduct amounts from your salary for lost or damaged personal items.

For further assistance kindly share your Whatsapp number.

Greeting,

If there are delays in salary payments, it is advisable to file a complaint with the Labor and Workers System and request your rights regarding unpaid salaries and compensation for leave days stipulated in your employment contract.

Additionally, the employer does not have the right to deduct any amount from your salary unless it is specified in the contract.

Best regards

It’s crucial to address these issues systematically by understanding your rights under local labor laws, maintaining open communication with your employer while documenting all interactions, and seeking external assistance if necessary.

Dear questioner

It will be better to file a MOHRE complaint for the delay in salary and for mental torture. But try to avoid accusations of theft against you.

If you need any further clarification, kindly share your Whatsapp number.

It sounds like you're facing a challenging situation with your employer. Here are some steps you can take:

Document Everything: Keep a record of all instances of delayed salary payments, lack of days off, and any communications regarding the missing sunglasses. This documentation will be important if you need to take further action.

Review Your Employment Contract: Check your employment contract or company policies regarding salary payment, leave entitlements, and responsibilities for lost items. This can help you understand your rights.

Communicate Professionally: Consider addressing your concerns directly with your employer. Explain the issues regarding delayed salary and the absence of days off, and express your confusion about the demand to pay for the sunglasses. Try to keep the conversation professional and calm.

Seek Legal Advice: If the situation does not improve, you may want to consult with a lawyer or a labor rights organization. They can provide you with advice tailored to your specific circumstances and help you understand your rights under UAE labor law.

Contact Relevant Authorities: If necessary, you can report the situation to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) in the UAE. They can assist with labor disputes and issues related to salary and working conditions.

Consider Your Options: If the situation continues to be untenable, think about your options regarding your employment. You may want to consider looking for a new job or exploring other avenues to protect your rights.

Taking these steps can help you navigate this difficult situation more effectively. If you need further assistance or specific advice, feel free to ask.
