The procedure for filing a civil case based on a criminal case

Yes, you can file ur civil case by yourself, it’s not a condition to hire a lawyer.

But you should know some points:

First, if the civil lawsuit is related to the criminal case, you must wait until the criminal proceedings are completed and a final judgment is issued against the accused and then submit your civil claim.

Secondly, if the basis of your claim is the contractual liability, you can raise your claim without fear of a suspension of the case pending and dismissal of the criminal case.

Thirdly, you can file a civil lawsuit with the criminal court and it is possible that the court will give you temporary compensation or refer the request for compensation to the civil court.

Fourthly, it is preferable to assign the two cases to a law firm or to assign the civil case only to a law firm, because this type of cases has many‭ weaknesses that the defendant exploits.
