Do we have to provide a flight ticket to the employee if we terminate him for bad performance?
Hello,
The company terminated the employee for poor performance. He claims the repatriation tickets.
Questions:
1) Shall we cover the cost of repatriation?
Because as per Article 13 (12), if the termination is for a cause, the employee is not eligible for repatriation tickets.
2) If we have to pay, during which period of time we need to provide tickets?
Greetings.
The employee deserves a return ticket unless he is dismissed for a violation.
The ticket must be provided to him immediately upon the termination of his service if he wishes to return and not join another company.

The company is not obligated to cover repatriation costs if the termination was due to the employee's poor performance.
The specific timeframe for providing the ticket might be outlined in the employment contract.
If you need further clarification you may ask.
Hi.
In answer to your question, your employee does not have the right since the reason for dismissal was performance-related.
These are classified as valid grounds. Article 13(12) and Article 43(1) of the federal decree 33 of 2021, allow you to terminate him without providing for a return ticket.
If the employee is eligible for repatriation tickets, it is typically provided within a reasonable period of time after termination, often within a few weeks or months.
The exact timeline may vary depending on company policy and local labor laws.
It is advisable to consult with HR or contact us to determine the specific requirements in this case.
