How do I find out if there are any court cases filed against me?
Hi,
I just want to ask how I can check if there is any court case against me.
Dear Inquirer,
We are pleased to serve you and address your inquiries.
There is more than one system within the state. Criminal lawsuits have their own system, rental lawsuits have their own system, and the rest of the lawsuits have their own system.
You can apply for any of them by requesting a list of cases under your name.
If anything else is required, don’t hesitate to contact us via email, or call our offices in Dubai or Sharjah.

Legal Counsel and Consultations
Dear Questioner,
Thanks for your inquiry!
Regarding the above, we would like to inform you that, we can check for you if there is anything against you, and before initiating the legal process, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) from you.
This is necessary for us to represent you before government authorities and police stations. To proceed with the notarization of the POA, kindly provide us with the following documents:
- Copy of your old and new passport.
- Copy of your Visa.
- Copy of your Emirates ID.
Upon receiving the aforementioned documents, we will begin drafting the POA in a bilingual form. We will then send it to you for review, signature, and return.
Subsequently, we will submit the request to the federal Notary Public to notarize the POA. The Notary will provide a link for a remote meeting, during which your original passport will be verified, and you will sign on the screen.
Following this, we will cover the fees for Notary legal expenses and obtain a digital copy of the notarized POA. Please be advised that the legal fees for the POA notarization process amount to USD 140.
Upon receipt of the digital notarized POA, we will proceed to check your criminal record in the UAE to determine if there are any cases registered in your name.
Please note that this process will take approximately 4 working days and our professional legal fees for this service amount to USD 320.
Kindly contact us via phone or email for further assistance.
Regards,
