Can I cancel my visa if I am in the execution stage of a labor case in my favor?
I filed a labor complaint against my previous company and got the judgment in my favor. I filed for execution and now it's in process.
I got the file number and was asked to keep checking the status of my case execution.
I have one question here, can I cancel my visa which was sponsored by my previous company?
Will it affect receiving my amount?
How long does execution take?
Looking forward to legal advice.
Thanks
Dear Inquirer
We are pleased to serve you and address your inquiries.
Your dues have become finally fixed with your previous company according to the judicial ruling and are in effect, so the cancellation of the visa has nothing to do with the dues.
If anything else is required, don’t hesitate to contact us via email or call our offices in Dubai or Sharjah.

Dear questioner
Yes, you can cancel the visa sponsored by the previous employer even if the execution case is pending against them.
The execution of judgment only takes one or two weeks however if your previous employer delays the amount or compensation you are required to take necessary steps.
