Can I re-enter the UAE after overstaying for a month and taking an outpass?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I overstayed in the UAE for one month and a week, and I took an outpass with a ban.
Can I enter the UAE again?
Dear Questioner,
Whether you can come back to the UAE depends on the type of ban.
Generally, individuals who opt for an outpass will receive a permanent ban.
Please check the ban details on the GDRFA website of the specific emirate where the outpass is issued.

Dear Sir/Madam,
First, we will check if the ban exists in your name. Hire a lawyer to conduct a complete check on a possible travel ban and arrest warrant imposed on you in the United Arab Emirates.
Submit the required documents and get the results of the check online without visiting UAE government authorities personally at a charge of 290$.
Dear Questioner,
Thanks for your inquiry!
Regarding the above, we would like to inform you that:
First, we have to check your outpass and travel ban, and before initiating the legal process, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) from you.
This is necessary for us to represent you before government authorities and police stations. To proceed with the notarization of the POA, kindly provide us with the following documents:
- Copy of your old and new passport.
- Copy of your Visa.
- Copy of your Emirates ID.
Upon receiving the aforementioned documents, we will begin drafting the POA in bilingual form. We will then send it to you for review, signature, and return.
Subsequently, we will submit the request to the federal Notary Public to notarize the POA. The Notary will provide a link for a remote meeting, during which your original passport will be verified, and you will sign on the screen.
Following this, we will cover the fees for Notary legal expenses and obtain a digital copy of the notarized POA. Please be advised that the legal fees for the POA notarization process amount to USD 140.
Upon receipt of the digital notarized POA, we will proceed to check your criminal record in the UAE to determine if there are any cases registered in your name.
Please note that this process will take approximately 4 working days and our professional legal fees for this service amount to USD 320.
Regards,
