Will unpaid phone bill prevent me from leaving UAE?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I owe DU 5,000 dirhams. I just returned from vacation two months ago, but now I want to travel from the UAE to Canada. I will be carrying a cancellation letter.
Will I be held at the airport on departure because I don't have the money to pay DU now?
I hope to pay in the future, but I cannot do so at this time. Even though I may have a cancellation letter, they may still see my bills?
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.
Having unpaid bills with DU could lead to complications when leaving the UAE, even with a cancellation letter.
To avoid potential issues, address the debt with DU and try to negotiate a resolution or payment plan before your departure.

Dear Questioner,
We can undertake a complete inspection of all UAE systems for you to check if you have a case or not and recommend the best approach to resolve it.
The service price is AED 1000. If you are interested, please send us a copy of your passport on WhatsApp.
Dear Questioner,
It's advisable to clear the dues or check your status if they have filed any case against you to be sure that you don't face any inconvenience.
Later, you may need a police clearance for immigration, which may be difficult if you have any case against you.
