My ex-wife has put a travel ban and arrest warrant on me due to alimony owed. What to do?
My ex-wife has put a travel ban and arrest warrant on me due to alimony owed. I pay every month but it's not enough.
What I want to know is whether the arrest expires after 1 year or this is forever.
Also, will I be arrested in Saudi, Qatar, or any other GCC country?
I currently live in Canada.
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question, I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.
Travel bans and arrest warrants in the UAE due to unpaid alimony may not automatically expire after one year and can be enforced for an extended period.
While the travel ban issued in the UAE may not directly affect your ability to travel within other GCC countries, it's essential to consult with us to understand the potential implications and seek guidance on resolving the outstanding alimony payments and addressing the travel ban effectively.

Dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Kindly note that to check if you have any cases in the UAE we need a Power Of Attorney on behalf of you, so we can check it with courts, police stations, and public prosecution.
We can offer AED 1500 for the POA and check your record plus the expense of the POA. Thereafter we can give you a brief of all cases once we check your records.
You can reach us by Email or via Mobile.
Best Regards,

It is advisable to check the travel ban before you plan to visit in UAE.
The chances of getting a travel ban in GCC countries are very low in these cases. If you can check with the particular country you wish to visit, it is better.
