Based on the documents, you own the mobile and you have to pay the delayed payments. I don't understand what do you mean by penalty, if it's written in the contract which your friend signed with your civil ID, then you have to pay it. You have to get the mobile back since you are paying/going to pay the late payments. Even if you didn't sign, but based on the papers they have & your civil ID, to them - you signed. Your friend may get sued and you too since you know that he/she is taking this action. I recommend you to pay and get your mobile back and NEVER EVER let anyone use your civil ID.

Am I liable for the mobile service contract signed by my friend who used my ID?

عواقب التأخر عن سداد فواتير الاتصالات

س: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، عندي خط تليفون لإحدى شركات الاتصالات عليه فواتير متأخرة ب 100 دينار. وصلتني رسالة من شركة تحصيل بأنهم رفعوا علي قضية، وهناك أمر أداء جزئي بالمبلغ، وأردت الدفع، ولكن أحد الاصدقاء أبلغني بأنني إن دفعت المبلغ الآن سيرفعون قضية أخرى للأضرار النفسية...إلخ وقد يطلبون مني 5 آلاف أو أكثر. أريد الآن معرفة ما علي فعله: هل أدفع المبلغ وسينتهي الموضوع؟ أو انتظر إلى أن يكون أمر الدفع كليًا؟ وهل يمكن زيادة المبلغ المطالب به إذا لم يتم الدفع فوراً؟

Can my employer prevent me from getting a new job in UAE by imposing travel ban?

Dear Sir, Currently, I am working as a production supervisor in Kuwait and recently I have resigned from my job. The reason was - I got a better offer from the UAE. My current employer tried to convince me to stay here but I refused for some reasons. Now he is threatening me like "You can't move to UAE because I am going to ban your UAE travel". Please advise me, is it possible to ban my UAE travel without any valid reason? If they made any reason what would that be?
