When to resign and how to renew visa for a new job?

I currently have a contract that is set to end on December 21, 2023. However, I have decided that I do not wish to renew my contract and would like to pursue a new job opportunity.
I would like to inquire about the appropriate time for submitting my resignation letter. Considering that my contract ends on December 21, 2023, when would be the most suitable time for me to hand in my resignation?
Additionally, once my previous employer cancels my visa, I would like to know how much time I have before I need to obtain a new visa for my next job.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide me with some guidance on this matter.

As per your query, please note that if you decide to resign, you must submit the notice as per the contract and should work during the notice period with the salary. So please check the non-compete clause, if any.
Once the employer cancels the visa and you have got your dues, then you can apply for a new visa provided there is no issue with the old employment contract or employment.

You have to serve the required notice period stipulated in your employment contract before resigning.
For example, if it states in your contract that you have to serve a notice period of 30 days, you have to submit your resignation letter 30 days prior to the date you wish to leave your job.
Moreover, after your visa cancellation, you have a grace period of (60 to 180 days) depending on the category of your visa.
