How to recover money from bounced checks issued by a Filipina in Dubai?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I want to recover money from a bounced check. I have three bounced checks totaling AED 80,000.
The issuer of the check is a female Filipina residing in Dubai.
Please suggest the best legal procedure to get this money.
Thank you!
Dear Questioner,
There are two options available to you:
(i) Lawyers can serve a legal notice and follow up with the other party (the debtor) consistently to settle the matter.
(ii) You can consult a lawyer and file a case in the court of the relevant jurisdiction.
Companies should ideally approach lawyers with a dedicated debt recovery practice to recover their outstanding funds with the least effort.

Dear Client,
Hope you are doing well!
We can assist you in this situation, and for that we need to follow the procedures.
I will give you a little brief of the procedures here:
1) Firstly, we will send a notary public legal notice.
2) If this notice is not received by said person, then we have to do ELAAN (announcement) through Dubai Court.
3) Again if not received, we need to do a newspaper advertisement.
Even after following the above procedure, if she didn't respond, then we will file the case in the case management office in Dubai Court.
After the case is filed we can put a travel ban and you can directly execute the cheque and recover the money.
Documents required:
1) Colored copy of the cheque, it should be translated.
2) Emirates ID or visa copy or passport copy of this Filipina lady.
For Further legal assistance, kindly contact us via phone or email.
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Questioner,
You should file a cheque execution case.
