س: مرحبًا، أنا أعيش في الإمارات مع زوجي. (نحن متزوجان زواج إسلامي). انتقلنا إلى الإمارات للحصول على فرصة عمل له وتبعته، وتخليت عن حياتي المهنية. لقد انفصلنا منذ 4 أشهر ولكننا لا نزال نعيش معًا في غرف منفصلة. كانت الخطة هي محاولة العمل على أنفسنا والمضي قدمًا. عندما انتقلنا إلى الإمارات لأول مرة، كان من الصعب بالنسبة لي أن أجد فرصة في مجال دراستي وعملت في مهنة أخرى. لقد قمت إشعارًا مؤخرًا في عملي لإنقاذ ما تبقى من زواجي. خططت لإيجاد وظيفة أخرى في الأشهر المقبلة. قبل شهرين اكتشفت أن زوجي خانني مع امرأة أخرى. بما أنني مكفولة عليه (الإقامة)، هل لديّ حقوق في الإمارات في حالة الطلاق؟ لكي أتمكن من البقاء والبحث عن وظيفة أخرى أو هل يجب عليه أن يدفع لي نوعًا من النفقة حتى أجد وظيفة أخرى؟

How can I pay the rent after selling the property if neither the old nor the new owner is clarifying this?

My current landlord has sold the building I live in, and my rent cheque was due to be presented on April 1st. I contacted the new landlord and the current landlord about my rent cheque. My current landlord advised that they had withdrawn the cheque and presented it to the new landlord. How can we claim our money back if the cheque we received have bounced for insufficient funds?

We received a cheque which has now bounced. We have tried for over a month and a half now to get a new cheque from the person, and every day he says the next day. We need the money now. We have been to the police station, and they said they can not do anything as the reason the cheque bounced is "Insufficient funds." We have been to Al Barsha - Dubai Courts, and they said there is nothing they can do about it. We are not sure what we can do.
