Lifting a travel ban and visa renewal after overstaying to return to the UAE

Assalamu Alaikum,

I overstayed in the UAE for almost 13 months in 2021 and was held by Ajman immigration and sent back to Pakistan.

At the time, I was on a partner visa from Sharjah Shams Freezone which had expired. Now, I want to return to the UAE and need to know if there is a travel ban or restriction on me entering the UAE.

What should I do?

You can submit a request to inquire about a travel ban or an arrest warrant.

If there is a travel ban against you, you can also submit a request for clemency.

I was caught by the police at a check post in Ajman when they saw that my ID had expired. They then took me to Ajman Immigration from the Naumia Police Station.

I wasn't able to renew my visa due to the financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, things are going well now, and I would like to return to work.

I had been in the UAE for 3 years, and during that time, I never committed a crime or violated any rules.

What are the chances of lifting the ban on me, and what are the possible expenses involved?

I just need a rough idea.

The charge for this service is 6,000 AED in advance and 6,000 if the request is accepted.
