س: مرحبًا،
تلقيت غرامة بقيمة 500 درهم بسبب تعطل سيارتي على طريق السلام قرب مبني الأناناس يوم الجمعة 16-3-2018.
كانت هناك مادة غريبة على الأرض، لذا تعطلت 4 سيارات أخرى. جاءت الشرطة وساعدتنا على نقل السيارات باستخدام خدمة السحب.
وبناءًا على طلبنا، لم تعطينا الشرطة تقرير بالحادث. كنت أقود سيارة مؤجرة من شركة شيفت كار رينتالز، وقد أصرت الشركة على الحصول على تقرير الشرطة، وإلا سأتحمل جميع تكاليف الأضرار التي لحقت بالسيارة.
لذا ذهبت في يوم 18-3-2018 إلى الشرطة وطلبت منهم تقريرًا عن الحادث. قام الضابط بالتحقيق، وقال أنه سوف يذكر أن السيارة انزلقت بسبب المادة الغريبة. وافقت وأكمل الضابط التقرير.
لم يخبرني أحد أنه سيتم تغريمي بسبب ذلك. فليس خطأي أنه كانت هناك مادة غريبة على الطريق، وحتى الشرطة لم تتمكن من تحديد ماهيتها عندما جاءت لمساعدتنا.
لا أعرف لماذا يتم تغريمي. أحتاج لمساعدتك.

Traffic accident issue
Q: I was looking to seek some legal advice regarding my case. I had a traffic accident that has been referred to the traffic court. No one else was involved or injured just me. My car crashed into a post. I am also fine, my car is not. I was taken to hospital but left of my own accord and went to the police station the next day. Could my speeding violation result in jail time?
Q: Hi,
Late at night, around 1 AM, I was speeding at 163 km/h in an 80 km/h zone in Khalifa City. I received a fine from the police and 23 black points.
When I talked to the police, they told me I have to go to the traffic department for this issue. They also mentioned that the traffic department will initiate a case against me, potentially leading to prosecution.
Will the case go to court? What charges will I face? What fines am I likely to pay?
I heard that the court could also impose jail time for this offense. There was no accident or injury involved.

I have a signed thumb-impression cash receipt. What options do I have to recover the AED 7000 advance paid to the employee?

Does this case count as a criminal conviction under UAE law, or was it handled as a civil matter?
If I apply for a U.S. visa, will I need to submit court records under the requirement for applicants with past convictions?
