Who is liable for the overstay fines after the expiry and non-renewal of employment visa?

Dear Sir Madam.

My visa expired in November 2021 and my employer has still not renewed my visa.

I requested many times but he does not respond.

I am still working here he pays me a salary.

Now if I want to change the company, what should I do?

Or if go home what's the process?

Who will pay the fine? Me or my company?
