Trademark registration and classes of services applicable to a website

Thanks for your response. Do we need to select specific services from Class 35, or can we select the entire class with all services?

Also, we noticed class 41 has many rental services (cameras, sports equipment …etc) and Our site provides rental services between companies and individuals.

Although it is not technically our products and we are just the medium between the renter and the owner of the item but can you please let us know if we should be covered under 41?

With regards to your enquiry, as it is a website, class 41 will not be applicable. Due to our previous experiences in registering websites with MOE, class 35 is always applied. And through such website you can advertise and rent all the materials such as cameras, sports equipment, etc. Furthermore, you do not need to select any specific services out of class 35, it will be applicable in its entirety.

Even you do not need to select any of the classes yet, as Ministry of Economy itself provides for the class in which your activity falls. But for your personal knowledge, the class applicable is 35.

I shall recommend you to approach Ministry for searching whether the trademark has been already registered or not. Then and there, they will provide you with the relevant class applicable.
