Claiming salaries and entitlements from absconding employer

Sir,

I am working as a document controller in Dubai with a limited contract. Last 4 months salaries plus my one year leave salary are pending with my company.

As I know, our company MD escaped from Dubai. Is there any possible legal action to get my salaries? I am still working with the same company.

Dear Questioner,

You should file a complaint to MOHRE, and subsequently, the complaint will develop to be a labour court case.

You should include all your claims against the company in one complaint, and once you get a verdict, you will be allowed to enforce such verdict against the company assets if any.
