How to request settlement before the conclusion of court proceedings
Is there a method for a litigant to make a settlement offer during the middle of litigation?
I have a lawsuit that has entered into appeal stage. The opponent informed me that he wishes to make a settlement offer.
Can this be done via the court or is it out of court settlement?
If via the court, please guide me on the procedure to show the court the settlement offer and get it approved and made into an Executive Writ.

Dear questioner,
Both of you (opponent & you) can prepare a settlement agreement and submit it to the court, after which the case can be closed by the judge.
If need be, kindly contact us by phone or email for further assistance.
You ask the court for a grace period for a settlement then you need to contact a lawyer to draft a settlement agreement and then you submit the agreement to the court after it is signed by the litigant party.
