Consequences of getting pregnant without marriage in Dubai

The pregnant woman who is found to be unmarried will be subject to the punishment of Adultery.

It is very well known based on the precedents of the UAE courts and the Islamic Sharia regulations, that the UAE courts try to make sure in a very clear and definite way before imposing such penalty on the accused unless there are plenty of proofs and evidence which leave no doubt to the judge that the accused has committed such a crime.

However, with an indisputable evidence such as pregnancy, the woman may face imprisonment penalty and deportation.
