Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I have applied for bail for my husband on the Public Prosecution website. He was sentenced to 6 months in prison for a criminal case, fined, and deported. He has now served 7 months in prison. He has a pending civil case, and a lawyer advised me that I can apply for bail, so I did. The application states that a decision will be made within 5 days. They took him that day and said they needed to do drug tests on him. It's been 25 days now, and the results have not come back. They say it will take more time. We are unable to get bail because the lawyers say it shows as "under investigation" online, and until the investigation is over, we cannot get bail. We don't know what to do because the test results may take much longer, and we're not sure how long we have to wait. He's only 22, and now they say he has four charges against him for drugs and the accident.

يندرج تحت الإصابة الشخصية الإصابات الجسدية والنفسية والعقلية. يحق للمُصاب أن يطالب بالضمان في حالة تعرُّضه لإصابة بسبب خطأ شخص آخر. كما يجوز للمتضرر إقامة دعوى ضد الشخص الذي تثبت إدانته في قضية جنائية أو ضد شركة التأمين الخاصة به إذا كان المتسبب قد شَمِل نفسه بالتأمين. يسمح القانون المدني الإماراتي بتقديم مطالبة بالضمان عن أضرار الإصابات.
