Cancellation of visa/labour contract while having a court case with the employer

Hi,

I have a Labor case in Dubai Courts. The Court already issued a judgment that the employer has to pay me. But the Company is not here.

My visa is expired since last one month and I need to cancel it because I have the Offer Letter from another company. I am having a hard time since I am running behind this issue since Ramadan.

Pls, help me. How can I cancel my visa and labor contract so that I am able to join another company?

Since you have a Labor case in Dubai Courts and the Court already issued a judgment that the employer has to pay you, please submit an application to the Court to cancel your visa failing which you will be overstaying illegally.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Actually, I was requesting the court to cancel my visa but they refused. They've said that until your case is not settled your visa cannot be cancelled.

I'm sure you can get permission to work elsewhere to support yourself. Or to extend your visa.

Did you inform the court that your visa expired?

Yes, I informed them. Yesterday I submitted my application for Labor Card cancellation. Hope it will be approved.
