How to resolve a rejected police clearance when the final innocence judgment isn't in the system?
Q: Hello, Background I was unfortunately involved in a fraud case in the RAK court in 2020. In the First Court, I was sentenced to 4 months in jail. In the Second Court, I was sentenced to 6 months in jail. In the Supreme Court, the case was returned to the Second Court. In the Court of Revision, I was declared innocent, and I received a clearance certificate from the RAK Court confirming my innocence. A few days ago, I went to a police station in Abu Dhabi to request a police clearance certificate, but it was rejected. According to the police officer, they could only see the outcomes of the First and Second Courts and asked me to attend a rehabilitation class. The final judgment was not loaded into the system. Action I uploaded the judgments of the Supreme Court and the Court of Revision through the RAK Government Portal and requested a stop search from the public prosecution. I received an SMS confirming it was completed successfully. Problem However, in the police system, the judgments of the Supreme Court and the Court of Revision are still not reflected. What should I do?+1

Denying end-of-service pay by demanding unpaid rent after years of free accommodation
Q: Hello, Can an employer withhold end-of-service pay by citing accommodation was provided? The employer allowed me to stay in a residence under his authority for 9 years, with a one-year contract and rent paid. However, as no Ejari was made, we continued to stay, and the employer stopped asking for rent for 8 years. Now, seeing that I may retire soon, he has started asking for rent for the past 8 years to avoid paying the end of service owed for my 25 years of service. Is this legal, and what can I do?+2

Q: Hello Everyone, I have been working with a client for the past year through a service company. The client has decided not to continue the contract with the service company, and instead, they have offered me a position through their consulting company, which I have accepted. Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My mercy request to remove deportation was shown as “accepted“ by Dubai public prosecution and pending for special committee decision (1st-time offense, breach of trust case). This was 1 year ago. It is still showing pending commute final decision. Is it usual to take more than a year for final approval? Are there any other official steps to take? My lawyers are not responding so I will be grateful for advice from your legal experience.

Q: I am facing an issue. I helped 1 lady and told her "Ma`am there is empty parking you can park." She called the police and the police opened a case 3 months ago. I bought a holiday package from a tourism company and they breached the contract terms. What to do?
Q: I bought a holiday package from a tourism company. The main privilege is to get a 6N/7D annual holiday for 2 adults and 2 children on a bed and breakfast basis with return airport transfers and 1 sightseeing tour in 4-star associated worldwide hotels for a period of 5 years. Fast forward to my 2nd-holiday request for Jan 6-9, 2025 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the hotels they`ve been providing me are all non-inclusive of breakfast and mostly are 3-star rated except Double Tree by Hilton hotel. I insisted that I would not accept any of the hotel options since they were not following the contract by not providing breakfast as well. What they did is they provided me options with breakfast but all are located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My flight ticket and itinerary are arranged, and although they don`t say it, what they imply in their last proposal is for me to change the state I should visit in Canada. I want to know if they are allowed to do this or if I can sue them.2024/12/27
