How to claim an amount transferred by mistake to a company which is not responding or returning it back?
Q: An "A" individual / Company by mistake transfers/deposits some funds to another "B" company. "B" company, despite certain follow-up efforts with "A" Company to recall or claim back the wrong payment, remained unresponsive, and “A" company could not track the depositor information. In such cases, what is the time frame within which "A" Company is liable to retain in suspense? Can "A" company deny the claims of "B" company in the future, as it was written off by "A" company after a few months of tracking.

Will the execution procedures start automatically to evict the tenant if the landlord does not request it?
Q: Hello, I have received the execution case for RDC Dubai (-----), and this is the case no. if you want to review. I asked a lot of lawyers, and they were unable to reply. I want to know, if I do not vacate the property within 7 days, will the court officer come immediately for forced eviction, or does it take time? Visa cancelled, salary unpaid. How to check if my UAE employer filed absconding?
Q: Hello, My visa has automatically been closed since I’m outside the UAE. But my company didn’t pay me the final month’s salary and settlement. I submitted my resignation from outside the UAE, as the company suggested I take a leave instead when I resigned from there. Now I filed a complaint through MOHRE customer service for the salary, but the response was that they couldn’t find any issue. I’m not sure how the company cancelled my visa without clearing the payment. How can I check if they have filed an absconding case?

Can I get my overstay fines waived after a case was recently closed?
Q: Hi, I would like to seek legal assistance. I am currently overstaying due to a complaint registered against me last year, which was not closed even after it was settled. Only today, I received a letter from Dubai Prosecution about the lifting of my travel ban and the closure of the case. Is there any way I can file to claim a waiver for my fines or at least a fine reduction? I only came to know about this case/complaint when I was trying to renew my visa last April, and due to this, I was not able to renew it on time. Please assist. Thank you!

Q: Hello, An agent from a company in the housing space promised me a percentage cashback from the brokerage if I booked the house through him. He sent this understanding via both his company and personal email. After regular follow-ups, he paid a certain percentage but claims the company is not willing to release the remaining amount. The agent has since left the organization and started his own business, and I am left hanging to deal with the company on my own. I have never visited or had any contact within the company. Please help or guide me in the right direction, as the amount is my hard-earned lifetime savings and is considerably large.

Q: Hello, If my husband has a mental disorder and cannot provide financially for me and my son, what can we do in this situation? Although his family is financially capable of helping, they are not supporting him. He cannot afford housing either. They are not contributing to his medical care or any of his expenses. Q: I`m a chef living in Dubai, UAE. I got a visa and work permit from another company, but I started working as a private chef for a UHNW individual at his home. I have worked there for 2 months and 21 days, and I got paid for that, but after that time, they fired me without any notice or reason. What does the labor law say? I purchased a unit and the seller did not tell me about the tenant security deposit. How to make the seller pay it back?
Q: I purchased a unit that had a tenancy contract. During the transfer, the agent calculated the remaining rent and got that from the previous owner and transferred the money to me. Q: Hello, Abusive family members, parents and brother, with nowhere to go. Female, 18 years old. I need help. My parents physically abused me, and my mother almost killed me two years ago during a psychotic episode that was their fault. What to do if an employee fails to provide the required 90-day written notice for resignation?
Q: Colleagues, The situation is as follows: The contract expires on August 14, 2025. However, the contract includes the following clauses: 1. (The “Term”) commencing on August 1, 2023. The contract shall automatically and repeatedly renew for periods of 2 years unless either Party notifies the other in writing, not less than 90 days prior to the expiry date of such period, of its desire not to renew the original or any renewed period. 2. This contract may be terminated by either of the Parties prior to the end of the Term, provided that the terminating Party serves the other Party with advance written notice of 90 days (minimum 30 and maximum 90 calendar days). What can you do if the bank filed a case against despite paying the loan by insurance after losing job?
Q: Hello Sir, My friend had a large personal loan and paid installments for 1.5 years before losing his job. A criminal case was filed in 2019, but he was cleared with a fine as the judge accepted that job loss insurance covered the loan. Funds were credited (shown in the statement & SMS), and customer service confirmed twice that the loan was cleared. He also paid AED 10K+ interest for the insurance. A year later, a cheque case was filed by a debt company and bank—he won with the same documents. Now, in Jan 2025, the bank filed a commercial case. The court appointed an expert, but the expert ignored his evidence. he showed that a key page of the contract (stating job loss insurance) was missing from the bank’s submission. The bank told the expert the credited amount was a “loan write-off,” but gave no proof. The expert never investigated his findings. I need advice on whether this verdict can be appealed and whether it’s worth pursuing further. My friend is in India now+6
