My MOHRE contract mentions one month`s notice, and I am willing to serve the notice period, but the employer asks for visa expenses. My passport was also retained by the employer. How can I cancel my visa by chance? I filed a complaint at the labour court. How many days does it take to get a verdict?

My employer did not provide me with medical insurance and refused sick leaves. What can I do?
Q: Hello, I`ve been working for this company for a little over a year now, and my employer hasn`t provided me with medical insurance yet. Since I have chronic asthma, I used to take leaves to rest my body and get better. I wasn`t able to get sick leaves except for two occasions (in which I`ve paid for one and one has been reimbursed). Last week I noticed that 1000 was deducted from my salary. I went to talk to my employer and told him that it was unfair because due to not having medical insurance, this was the outcome of the situation. He told me that I have till March to find another job and made it seem as if he was doing me a favor. I know I have the right to have insurance and he is breaking the law. What could be done in this case? Though I`ve wanted to avoid this route, the unfairness is too much. Thank you.

Can I renew the current contract as the new landlord or is a new one needed?
Q: Good afternoon, I bought a tenanted property a few months ago. The tenancy contract will expire at the end of January. I would like to renew the contract with the tenant under the same conditions. Am I liable to pay the rent and fines after selling the shop if there is no contract with the landlord?
Q: The landlord has filed a case against me for not paying the shop rent. I notified the owner when I sold the shop in Feb 2022 and the POA was given to the new owner but he took my EID in the contract for renewal. He said it was just for one month and after that, the new owner would cancel the contract because he didn’t have EID for renewal. I requested NOC several times from the landlord but they didn’t give it to me. My contract in which he took my signature expired on 16 March 23 and all the cheques were paid, and the payment was done by a third party too till Sept 24. From March 23 till Sept 24, I didn’t make any agreement with the landlord. Also, the trade license expired in Dec 2023 and was not renewed. I have no idea how the landlord collected cheques till Sept 2024 without a contract, and he doesn’t have any copy of the contract with him. Now he filed a case against me with old documents instead of the new owner`s name in the case. It is sold to 3 people after me. My question here is, am I liable to pay the rent and fines?+5

My mercy request to remove deportation was accepted but is still showing pending. What to do?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My mercy request to remove deportation was shown as “accepted“ by Dubai public prosecution and pending for special committee decision (1st-time offense, breach of trust case). This was 1 year ago. It is still showing pending commute final decision. Is it usual to take more than a year for final approval? Are there any other official steps to take?
