Can I file a maintenance case against my husband and enforce in the country where he lives?
Q: My husband has stopped paying the rent of my home and stopped paying the fees for my daughter`s education. I started a marital amicable reconciliation lawsuit which is under consideration. I also registered a Petition on Order, and the court ordered that my husband should provide a home for me immediately. The court tried to phone my husband but he did not pick up the phone since he is working in Saudi Arabia. Question A) How do I enforce the order that I received? Should I go to the police station? How do I get money from the UAE assets and accounts of my husband? Question B) Are orders and verdicts of Dubai Courts executable in Saudi Arabia? What is the procedure to start the execution of Dubai Court orders and verdicts in Saudi Arabia? Since I now have no home and very little money, please help me.

Can the landlord freeze my bank account after a judge approved my payment plan?
Q: Hi, I have a rental case in Sharjah, and I appealed for a 30% down payment and 6 installments. The Honorable Judge approved my request, and I have a copy of the order. Q: Hello, I`d like to ask: What if a landlord mistakenly mentioned the wrong increase percentage when sending the 90-day renewal notice to their tenant? Is it legal to give a 10% deposit cheque to an agent before signing Form F?
Q: Hello, I`m about to buy a property in Dubai on the secondary market and have some questions. The agent sent me a link to the Real Estate Brokerage Contract with the following note: A 10% deposit cheque will be given to our agency under the seller`s name for the XX apartment. It is non-transferable without consent from both parties and will be returned only by judicial order in case of a dispute. Is it legal to hand over a physical deposit cheque to the agent under the owner’s name before signing Form F, with the mentioned note? If I give this cheque before signing Form F, will I get it back if I change my mind? My rights are not protected here if the owner changes his mind before signing Form F. I tried to verify the title deed ownership on the DLD site, but it shows "Records not found." The agent said this happens sometimes because the owner didn`t update their details two years ago when they bought the property, and everything will be validated at the trustee office. Is this correct, or should I insist on updating the details to see validation on the DLD site?2024/08/21
