The visa should be canceled automatically after six months; how is this done?
Q: Hello, I was laid off from my job in January 2024 and had to leave the UAE without canceling my visa due to a family emergency. It`s been months, and my visa and EID are still active. As far as I know, after six months, they should be canceled automatically. How is this possible? I asked GDRFA about it, and they told me to discuss it with my employer, but they are not responding. I want to come to Dubai as a tourist now. Please help me. What should I do?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I joined a well-known and reputable company in June as an e-commerce sales executive. After three months, they fired me, citing the reason in my termination letter that they are closing their online platform. This claim is absolutely false, as the platform is still operational in the UAE. It feels completely unjust despite my hard work and proven sales record, once their platform was established, they simply terminated me. After my termination, they gave me an additional 30 days to find another job, stating they would not cancel my visa during this time, apart from the standard 14-day notice period. I recently spoke to a friend who was also terminated under similar circumstances. The company refused to pay him for no valid reason and deducted money from his dues as fines or penalties.+1

Q: Dear lawyers I submitted a file to the Dubai Land Department (RDC) through a trustee center regarding the rental increase by the landlord. I submitted the documents as per the trustee officer. Now I record the email that ‘the offer and deposit request has been rejected by the system as there has been no response from the respondent for 5 days. What do I do next?
