Q: Good day, My offer letter stipulates that I must repay the visa processing fee incurred by the employer if I resign before completing 18 months on the job. The probation period for the role is 6 months. I would like to know if I am liable to pay the visa processing fees if I resign after my probation period and whether it is legal for an employee to be asked to repay the visa processing fee. Am I liable to pay the rent and fines after selling the shop if there is no contract with the landlord?
Q: The landlord has filed a case against me for not paying the shop rent. I notified the owner when I sold the shop in Feb 2022 and the POA was given to the new owner but he took my EID in the contract for renewal. He said it was just for one month and after that, the new owner would cancel the contract because he didn’t have EID for renewal. I requested NOC several times from the landlord but they didn’t give it to me. My contract in which he took my signature expired on 16 March 23 and all the cheques were paid, and the payment was done by a third party too till Sept 24. From March 23 till Sept 24, I didn’t make any agreement with the landlord. Also, the trade license expired in Dec 2023 and was not renewed. I have no idea how the landlord collected cheques till Sept 2024 without a contract, and he doesn’t have any copy of the contract with him. Now he filed a case against me with old documents instead of the new owner`s name in the case. It is sold to 3 people after me. My question here is, am I liable to pay the rent and fines?+5

What to do if you get terminated and denied gratuity for a minor mistake?
Q: My brother has been working for a company for 11 years. In the last 3 weeks, he had an incident/accident and scratched a plane since he only had 1 person to assist him as the company was not hiring enough people. Senior staff like him are working more to train inexperienced new hires which adds to their workload working almost 12 hours/day including travel to DWC. The pilot said it was aesthetic and could be painted over but a police investigation ensued. Last week 3 managers and HR talked him down as the investigation concluded. He was terminated immediately with only this month`s pay and his 11-year gratuity will not be given by the company. It was not gross negligence or malicious intent, he just didn’t have enough people to help him. He owned up to the mistake and reported the incident within 24 hours. Can he fight for the gratuity?

How to release my bank account after dropping charges in a wrongful fraud case against me?
Q: Hi My account is frozen & I need to unfreeze it at the earliest as it was maybe due to my case which has been finished & I`m acquitted of all charges as it was a fraud case in which people used my name to scam someone. I have been going through both the Central Bank & my own bank but can`t find a solution. However, the last update that I got was to go to the same court & inform the court accounts team to send an email to the central bank to release my account through which the problem would be solved.
