Can a company fire me falsely claiming platform closure and withhold payments unfairly?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I joined a well-known and reputable company in June as an e-commerce sales executive. After three months, they fired me, citing the reason in my termination letter that they are closing their online platform. This claim is absolutely false, as the platform is still operational in the UAE. It feels completely unjust despite my hard work and proven sales record, once their platform was established, they simply terminated me. After my termination, they gave me an additional 30 days to find another job, stating they would not cancel my visa during this time, apart from the standard 14-day notice period. I recently spoke to a friend who was also terminated under similar circumstances. The company refused to pay him for no valid reason and deducted money from his dues as fines or penalties.

I submitted an offer and deposit file to the RDC for rental increase but no response from landlord. What to do?
Q: Dear lawyers I submitted a file to the Dubai Land Department (RDC) through a trustee center regarding the rental increase by the landlord. I submitted the documents as per the trustee officer. Now I record the email that ‘the offer and deposit request has been rejected by the system as there has been no response from the respondent for 5 days. What do I do next? Can I re-rent to my evicted tenant at current market rates?
Q: Dear Lawyers, Can I invite my evicted tenant with the current market rental rates, or am I legally obligated to offer the same rates as the previous tenancy? I have a copy of the tenancy agreement for another apartment in my building, and the rates have increased by 15-20% since the eviction of my last tenant. The reason mentioned for the eviction was that I would be keeping the apartment for myself.

Can I upgrade and gift an apartment to my husband after evicting a tenant?
Q: Hello, I purchased a property last year that was already rented. I then issued the tenant an official notarized eviction notice of one year. The tenant has now vacated the apartment. I plan to upgrade the apartment and gift it to my husband. Will the former tenant have any legal rights against me if I proceed? Q: Dear Lawyers, My case is in the execution court. I have taken multiple measures, including blocking the company’s traffic file, bank accounts, and trade license, but the company has neither paid the dues nor responded. Finally, I requested the court to impose a travel ban on the company’s manager, which the court approved. However, the defendant has repeatedly requested the court to lift the travel ban, arguing that he is a local national and the case is against the company (an LLC), not him personally. So far, the court has rejected his requests. Could you please advise on further actions I can take to recover the funds? Can I request an arrest order? If yes, on what grounds? Also, is there any possibility that the court might lift the travel ban without the payment being made?+1

Q: Hello, I am serving my notice period with my current employer, and the day after it ends, I am supposed to join the new company. Agreed on rent with previous management; can new management demand increase?
Q: Dear lawyers, I am a tenant in Dubai. My current contract will expire on 24-01-25. The real estate agent gave me the renewal paper on October 15 with a 5% increase in rent, as per the RERA index, which I accepted. However, after a few days, the building management changed, and the new real estate team sent me a new contract on November 12 with more than a 10% rent increase (less than 90 days before the contract expires). When I inquired with them, they told me that they are the new management, and I have to follow their instructions or vacate the flat. Otherwise, they will send an evacuation notice. What can I do?+3
