How to close a company with an expiring license and an inactive partner?
Q: Hi, I was part of a trading license that was used only for the visas of two partners, with no business activity. Now, the license is about to expire, and I need to close the company. The parents of the deceased partner are not cooperating, and the second partner is also not interested. Please help me understand how I can close this company, as one partner is dead and the other is not interested. I am left alone in this situation. Q: Good afternoon, I hold a valid UAE employee visa (issued in Dubai). I have not been to the UAE for over 6 months. I am currently attempting to cancel the visa through MOHRE, as the owner of the company has left the country and has not been responsive. Additionally, the trade license has expired. Q: Dear Lawyers, My wife is the owner of a villa in Dubai, and in September 2023, she issued an eviction notice to the tenant on the grounds of self-use. Can a company take advantage of the new law and sue us for a review we wrote after two years?
Q: We are a business in Dubai, UAE and 2 years ago we had an unpleasant experience with a company in Ajman that had taken advance from us. After confirming everything and also taking the advance, they increased the prices by more than 60% and told us it was due to the raw material price increase and gave very vague reasons. So they gave us our deposit back but because of them, our order was also canceled and caused a lot of problems for us. So we gave them a Google review and wrote what happened. This happened 2 years ago and now, suddenly this company messaged us yesterday that they are filing a case against us for the review which we had given on Google. At that time he had also replied to the review but anyway, after 2 years, he wanted to file a case because we thought of a new law that says you cannot write a bad review of a company.
