After 4 years of leaving that company, I need a detailed experience letter mentioning my position at that time, with duties. As per the labor law, can I get it or not, or how? Q: Dear Team, I have received a final judgment in my favor for 5 months` salary, and I’ve already initiated execution through Al Adheed Center. Now, my employer is requesting to settle the matter outside the court and promises to pay the full amount within 45 days. However, due to past false promises and non-payment, I am hesitant to trust him. Could you please advise: 1. Is it safer to continue with the execution process? 2. If I choose to accept the settlement, how can I legally document the payment schedule to ensure enforcement if he defaults? 3. Can I cancel my house sale contract without extra fees after personal plans changed?
Q: Dear Lawyers, I signed a Form F with a buyer for the sale of my house as we were planning to leave the country. The contract was signed about a month ago, but the handover is not until August. Due to personal circumstances changing, we are no longer leaving Dubai and would like to cancel Form F. The Form F contract stipulates that we have to pay the buyer 10% of the purchase value. The real estate agent is now claiming that we also have to pay the buyer`s real estate commission and the conveyancing fee. Our understanding is that the 10% penalty is the only penalty. Q: Hello, I have a tenant who is always late with their payment. Their renewal was supposed to be last December 2023. Currently, they have not signed any new contract, provided any new cheques, and have stayed for three months from December until now without paying rent. Additionally, I just discovered that they have sublet the apartment with partitions, which is clearly stated as not allowed in the old contract. How can I get a UAE visa for my mother to the UAE if she has scars on lungs from TB?
Q: Good morning Sir, Actually, I tried to take a partner visa for my mother since I didn’t meet the criteria to sponsor her. Unfortunately, she didn’t pass the medical test and was deemed unfit. We went for a second medical test all tests were negative but she still didn’t pass due to the scars on her lungs and we were forced to cancel her visa with a permanent ban and send her back to India. Since I am the only child and there’s nobody else to look after her coz my father already passed away in August last year. Is there any way possible to bring her back? Q: Hi, We sent a renewal notice to our Dubai-based tenant 84 days before his contract renewal, with a 10% increase in rent. The tenant neither agreed nor disagreed with the proposed rent and replied on the day of renewal that he wouldn`t be paying the proposed rent. Due to the argument, the landlord decided to reduce the rent, but the tenant has not yet renewed his contract. It has been 12 days since his contract expired. Q: Hello sir I am a 51-year-old expatriate. I have joined a company in Dubai under a limited contract and it’s been 4 months since my contract was signed. What can I do if my employer terminated me without a prior notice?
Q: Without any prior notification or warning letter, the company suddenly says today don`t come. We will terminate your employment. From today 30 days will be your notice period that will be paid. Your MOHRE contract date is 5 days after your termination. So no gratuity will be entitled. What do actual labor laws say? 1. Gratuity - they take MOHRE date. But the joining date is only to be calculated, am I correct? 2. Without written warning or notification, they cannot terminate me on the same day. The reason is due to no sales generated. 3. Because it is termination, I like to request to hold my visa until I find another job for 2 or 3 months. Is it possible? What does the law say?
