تراجع الشركة الجديدة عن عرض العمل بعد الاستقالة من وظيفتي القديمة
س: أنا بحاجة لمشورتكم في أمرٍ ما. كنت أعمل بشركة في أبو ظبي وتلقيت دعوة مقابلة عبر الهاتف من شركة في دبي. اجتزت مقابلتين وتم اختياري للوظيفة، ثم تلقيت خطاب عرض وظيفي. وبناءًا على ذلك، استقلت من وظيفتي السابقة وعملت لمدة شهر بدون أجر (مدة الإخطار). بعد ذلك، انضممت إلى الشركة الجديدة، وبعد مرور أحد عشر يومًا، رفضت الشركة التقدم بعرض وظيفة لي. لا أعرف ماذا أفعل بعد أن فقدت وظيفتي بسببهم. أحتاج لمعرفة حقوقي القانونية في هذا الموقف، وما هي الإجراءات القانونية التي يمكنني اتخاذها ضد هذه الشركة.

Termination during probation period in a limited contract
Q: Hello Ma`am, I just want to ask for advice, as my employer just recently terminated me under a limited contract. I was hired July 2, 2017, and last Wednesday, Sept 20, 2017, the newly hired HR and General Manager spoke with me that they will no more continue my contract with them. They are claiming that I have made delays which I`m not aware of, and they didn`t send me any warnings through email. I have filed one-day sick leave when I was not really feeling well. Immediately on that day, they gave me a cheque which I served for 20 days only. They just told me without any notice period, and haven`t informed me or warned me if I have committed mistakes with their policies. Is this right? Thanks in advance.2017/10/12

Checking a possible ban for unintended overstay in the UAE
Q: Hi Sir. Hope you are doing well. I came to Dubai on a visit visa in 2014. I got a job and the owner of the company asked me for money to issue the employment visa. I paid him the amount, but the employer didn`t apply for my visa and went to his country. I filed a case against him in the court, but he didn`t come to the court after he returned to Dubai. The main problem was that I had given him my original passport, and that`s why I didn`t exit the country. After 10 months, I went to Al Aweer jail and I took exit without paying overstay fine. I had given fingerprint and eye scan also. Now, I want to come back on partner visa and I want to know if I can come on that visa or not. If you help me on this matter, I will be very thankful to you.2017/10/12

Appeal for reducing the punishment of a theft crime from jail to fine
Q: A judgement issued today in a criminal case for stealing has resulted in a jail term of three months. An appeal application hearing has been made, in order to turn the jail term into a fine. The appeal date has been set for January 2018, and we were informed that we can make an application to have the appeal heard earlier, is this possible? We would like to convert and pay the fine as soon as possible, in order for the subject to be closed and the accused to have his passport back.2017/10/12

Q: Hi, I live in a country where international copyright law is not signed. I am working on a series of tutorials published digitally, and I understand that my work is not protected by the copyright law. 1- If someone starts republishing my work, would it be possible to prosecute them once they exit the country? 2- Will I be in trouble outside the country if I violate the copyright of foreign works? Checking visa status after exiting the UAE for more than six months
Q: I was on an investor residence visa in the UAE up to 2010. I had to leave back to my home country and stay due to family issues. In the meantime, my residence visa expired in 2011 and I did not go back since then. I apprehend, there might be some problems due to my long absence. الاحتياطات المتخذة أثناء إجراءات المحكمة لضمان حقوقك عند التنفيذ
س: أسعى للحصول على تعويض عن الأضرار التي نجمت عن استخدام شركة لاسمي في عمليات نصب. أنهيت إجراءات التقاضي حتى وصلت إلى محكمتي الاستئناف والتنفيذ واللتان أمرتا بتجميد أصول الشركة وحساباتها حتى تدفع لي المبلغ المحدد بموجب حكم المحكمة. المشكلة أنه تم حل الشركة العام الماضي ولم يعد لديهم أموالًا في البنك. والآن لا يوجد أصول للشركة، فكيف لي ملاحقة شركة لم تعد موجودة؟ وكيف يمكنني الحصول على حقي حقيقةً وليس فقط على ورق حكم المحكمة؟ لقد قضيت الكثير من الوقت وأنفقت الكثير من المال والجهد لأحصل على حقي، وعندما حان وقت الحصول على التعويض الذي حدده القاضي، لم يعد هناك شيئًا. هل هناك حل قانوني آخر؟ شكرًا.
