I left the UAE with a pending loan and credit card but I did not default on payments. Will there be any problem?
I have a pending auto loan and credit card payment. My visa was canceled and I exited the country because I had a health problem.
Within 2 weeks, I'm going back on a visit visa to settle the loan. The bank was kept in the loop and I have not defaulted on any payments.
Will there be any problem?
Dear Inquirer,
If you’ve kept the bank informed and have not defaulted on any payments, your situation should be manageable.
However, since your visa was canceled and you are re-entering on a visit visa, there could be some legal or procedural considerations, particularly regarding the status of your loan.
It’s advisable to confirm your financial obligations with the bank and seek legal guidance to ensure a smooth process.
To avoid any complications, we recommend booking a consultation with us at "Future Vision for Advocacy and Legal Consultancy" to receive tailored legal advice and assistance.
We are happy at Future Vision Law Advocates and Legal Consultancy to assist you and provide the best legal services that meet your needs.

Hi
Pursuant to your query, it depends. So you should contact the bank to know if there is any case filed because you want to settle the pending payment.
You should check your emails or your mobile number if you received any notifications from the court or the bank.
Dear Questioner,
Thank you for your inquiry.
To confirm whether you have a travel ban in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE, we can assist you with a comprehensive check for civil and criminal cases.
Required Steps:
Before we can initiate the legal process of a travel ban check, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) to represent you before government authorities and police stations.
To facilitate the notarization of the POA, please provide the following documents:
• A copy of your old and new passport
• A copy of your visa
• A copy of your Emirates ID
Once we receive these documents by email, we will draft the POA in both English and Arabic and send it to you for review, signature, and return.
Afterward, the POA will be submitted to the federal Notary Public for notarization. The notary will provide a link for a remote meeting with you, during which your original passport will be verified, and you will sign electronically.
Costs and Process:
• Notary Fees: USD 165 (paid directly to the notary). You will receive a digital copy of the notarized POA.
• Legal Fees for Travel Ban Check: USD 325. Once the notarized POA is received, we will check the UAE criminal record system for any criminal cases, travel bans, arrest warrants, or execution files registered against your name. This process typically takes about four working days.
We are here to assist you every step of the way. Please let us know if you have any questions or require further clarification.
Sincerely,
Mohammad Salah

Greetings of the day,
Since you have maintained communication with the bank and have not defaulted on any payments, there should not be any issues.
However, we recommend checking with the relevant authorities to ensure there are no travel restrictions or other formalities that may affect your entry.

Given that you have maintained communication with the bank and have not defaulted on any payments, it is unlikely that there will be significant problems when you return on a visit visa to settle your auto loan and credit card payment.
Thank you for reaching out with your question regarding your auto loan and credit card payments.
Since you’ve been transparent with the bank regarding your situation and have not defaulted on any payments, it's good that you’ve been proactive in keeping the bank informed. However, there are a few important points to consider:
Visa Status: While the cancellation of your visa may have impacted your ability to stay in the country, it should not affect your obligations to the bank as long as you continue to make timely payments and maintain communication with them.
Re-entering on a Visit Visa: Re-entering the country on a visit visa to settle your outstanding loan should generally not pose an issue, but it's crucial to ensure that any agreements or settlements with the bank are in place before doing so.
Additionally, it’s advisable to confirm with the bank that your visit visa status will not interfere with your ability to resolve the matter.
Settling the Loan: When you return, it’s essential to address the loan and credit card payment as soon as possible. If there is any outstanding balance, the bank may have specific protocols in place for resolving the matter.
I would recommend scheduling a consultation to review the specifics of your case and help ensure everything is in order when you return.
Should you need assistance with communication or any legal matters regarding your bank and loan, I would be happy to assist you.
Feel free to reach out to me via WhatsApp or email to discuss this further.
