How long does it take to lift the travel ban after settling a bank loan case?
I have a travel ban for cheque execution, things are settled with the bank now as we agreed to pay.
I want to know after making the payment will my ban be lifted as per the new rule?
Or the same old process will be followed?
If yes, then after how much time can I travel?
As per the updated UAE laws, particularly those concerning the decriminalization of bounced cheques, once you settle the debt or payment associated with a cheque, you can apply to lift the travel ban and close the related execution case.
The bank will need to confirm that the payment has been made and notify the court or relevant legal authority.
While the new regulations aim to expedite the process, the time frame for lifting the ban can vary.
Typically, it can take a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the court's workload and the speed of communication between the bank and the court.

After making the payment and confirming with relevant authorities about lifting procedures based on new rules or agreements made with the bank, you may be able to travel within 5-10 business days if all conditions are met.

Dear quetsioner
After lifting the travel ban you can travel to UAE any time until and unless you have no other cases.
Thank you for reaching out to me with your query. Under the new regulations, once a settlement is reached and the payment is made, the travel ban can indeed be lifted.
However, it's important to ensure that the settlement is properly documented and that all required steps are taken to inform the court or relevant authorities.
In most cases, after the payment is confirmed, the travel ban can be lifted relatively quickly, but the time frame may vary depending on how promptly the authorities process the lifting of the ban.
I would be happy to assist you in ensuring this process goes smoothly and without delay.
Please feel free to reach out to me via WhatsApp or phone to discuss this further and ensure everything is handled correctly.
Best regards,
