Are audio recordings admissible on Dubai Courts website for evidence upload?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to know if audio recordings are not allowed as evidence to upload on the Dubai Courts website.
It's because the system doesn't allow me to do this. Most of my evidence consists of WhatsApp audio messages.
Dear Questioner,
Audio evidence cannot be submitted directly on the court's website.
You can take the audio recordings to a legal translator, who listens to the recordings, transcribes them onto paper, and then you can submit the paper to the court.
Hi,
The court system allows attaching an audio recording, and you can compress it as a RAR or Zip file, and you can also unpack it in written form in addition to attachments.
Create a document portfolio for your case.

Dear Questioner,
Thanks for your inquiry!
According to UAE law, audio recordings can be used as evidence in court proceedings. However, certain requirements must be met for the audio recording to be admissible as evidence:
1. The audio recording must be authentic and not tampered with in any way.
2. The person who made the recording must be identified and their credibility must be established.
3. The audio recording must be relevant to the case and must be able to prove or disprove a fact.
4. The audio recording must be clear and audible.
5. The person being recorded must have consented to be recorded unless the recording was made in a public place.
If these requirements are met, then the audio recording can be submitted as evidence in court. However, it is always best to consult with us for specific legal advice regarding your case.
Kindly feel free to contact us via WhatsApp or email.
Greetings,

Dear Questioner,
According to UAE law, audio recordings can be used as evidence in court proceedings. However, there are certain requirements that must be met in order for the audio recording to be admissible as evidence.
Firstly, the audio recording must be authentic and not tampered with in any way. This means that the recording must be in its original form and not edited or altered in any way.
Secondly, the person who made the recording must be identified and their testimony must be provided to confirm the authenticity of the recording.
Thirdly, the recording must be relevant to the case and must be legally obtained. This means that the recording must not have been obtained through illegal means, such as secretly recording a conversation without the other party's knowledge or consent.
If these requirements are met, then the audio recording can be submitted as evidence in court. However, it is ultimately up to the judge to decide whether or not to accept the audio recording as evidence.
In regards to uploading audio recordings on the Dubai Courts website, it is best to contact the court directly for guidance on the specific procedures and requirements for submitting evidence through their online system.
Dear Questioner,
You're right!
Uploading audio evidence directly on the Dubai Courts website might not be possible.
While UAE law allows audio recordings as evidence under certain conditions, the website might have limitations on file types.
The Dubai Courts website might allow specific audio formats like MP3 or WAV. Review the website's guidelines on acceptable file types for evidence submission.
If audio uploads are not allowed, consider converting your WhatsApp audio messages to text transcripts.
Ensure you mention the source (WhatsApp chat) and date/time of the recording in the transcript.
