The difference is that the first one you write yourself, and the second one is documents or papers that support your case.

Regarding the date of submission on the website, if the judge has set a date, you must comply with the judge's decision.

If there is no specific date from the judge, you can submit it on the website one day before the session.

Greetings.

The portfolio of documents is presented with the claim statement, and there is no harm in submitting it at any time when requested by the court because the evidence is the most important thing in lawsuits.

Attachments refer to the evidence you have mentioned in your memo to the court.

Generally, they should be included with the memo and are considered an integral part of it, serving to support the arguments and defenses presented in the memo.

While it is possible to submit evidence before 1 day of the court hearing, it is advisable to include it as part of the original defense memo.

This helps to ensure that the evidence is considered in a timely manner and is given the proper weight in the court's deliberations.

By including the evidence as part of the defense memo, you can help to present a comprehensive and well-supported case to the court.

Submitting memorandums is a legal explanation and presenting defense reasons and defenses for the legal position, whether for the plaintiff or the defendant or according to the existing evidence along with the procedures and legal loopholes.

As for the attachments, they are the material evidence supporting your position, whether they are documents, witness testimony, statements, letters, or other things.

It is every piece of evidence relied upon to prove the truth. As for the second part of the question, there is no harm in presenting evidence, memorandums, or documents before the session.

In the UAE legal system, there's a clear distinction between submitting memorandums and submitting attachments.

Memorandums are typically drafted by a lawyer specializing in the area of law relevant to your case. Memorandums should be submitted well in advance of the hearing to allow the judge time to review them.

Attachments are documents, photos, recordings, or other materials that support the claims made in your memorandum. They provide concrete evidence to strengthen your arguments.

Attachments can sometimes be submitted closer to the hearing with the judge's permission.
