Am I entitled to apply for vacation leave even though I am newly hired?

I am newly hired by a company, but I have not signed my offer letter yet because I am planning to go on an annual vacation in December.
Am I entitled to file for vacation leave even though I am newly joined?
Dear Questioner,
Even if you are a new employee or under probation, there are provisions mentioned under UAE Labor law. You are planning to go on vacation in December so your probation will be over by that time.
According to Article 29, the employer may agree to grant the worker leave from the balance of his annual leave during the probation period, while the worker retains the right to be compensated for the remainder of his annual leave balance, in case he did not pass the probation period.
So now you can file for this vacation leave. There will not be any restrictions.
