What happens to my unpaid Etisalat bill from 2016 as I plan to return to the UAE?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I left the UAE in 2016, and at that time, I had an outstanding Etisalat bill of AED 404, which I forgot to pay. Now, I am planning to visit the UAE again.

Please guide me on how this outstanding amount can affect me.

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.

An outstanding amount with Etisalat, even if small, can potentially lead to travel restrictions, and legal actions, and impact your credit score in the UAE.

While the immediate impact may not be severe for a small debt, it's advisable to settle it to avoid complications during your visit to the UAE.

For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

We will be happy to help you.

Thanks & Regards,

ABDUL WAHIED

Dear Questioner,

Thanks for your inquiry!

Regarding the above, we would like to inform you that, before initiating the legal process, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) from you.

This is necessary for us to represent you before government authorities and police stations. To proceed with the notarization of the POA, kindly provide us with the following documents:

- Copy of your old and new passport.

- Copy of your Visa.

- Copy of your Emirates ID.

Upon receiving the aforementioned documents, we will begin drafting the POA in bilingual form. We will then send it to you for review, signature, and return.

Subsequently, we will submit the request to the federal Notary Public to notarize the POA. The Notary will provide a link for a remote meeting, during which your original passport will be verified, and you will sign on the screen.

Following this, we will cover the fees for Notary legal expenses and obtain a digital copy of the notarized POA. Please be advised that the legal fees for the POA notarization process amount to USD 140.

Upon receipt of the digital notarized POA, we will proceed to check your criminal record in the UAE to determine if there are any cases registered in your name.

Please note that this process will take approximately 4 working days and our professional legal fees for this service amount to USD 320.

Regards,

Dear Questioner,

In your case, it is advisable to have a travel ban check because there are possibilities of the same.

After all, an outstanding Etisalat bill of AED 404 from 2016 could potentially impact your visit to the UAE in several ways, depending on the current status of the debt and Etisalat's collection practices.

If you need our service in travel ban check, please share your WhatsApp number.

Dear Inquirer,

Hope you are doing well!

Kindly note that to check if you have any cases or travel bans in the UAE, we need a Power Of Attorney on your behalf, so we can check it with courts, police stations, and public prosecution to check your record.

Thereafter, we can give you a brief of all cases once we check your record.

If you have any other queries, you can reach us through email or phone.

I would appreciate it if you could leave your review and rate our advice if it helps you, thank you!

Best Regards,

MennaTullah
