Can I cancel an online POA for court cases from outside the UAE?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have granted an online POA for court cases to someone in Dubai from outside the UAE.
However, I am unable to cancel it from outside the UAE and I currently have neither the requirement nor the financial capacity to enter the UAE to cancel it in person.
Can the POA be misused, given that it clearly states "cases" at the beginning?
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.
A Power of Attorney (POA) can potentially be misused if it is not carefully drafted and granted to a trustworthy individual.
When a POA mentions "cases" in the beginning, it typically pertains to legal matters.
If you have concerns about the misuse of your POA for legal cases in Dubai, it's important to ensure that the person you've granted it to is reliable and will use it for the intended purpose.

Dear Questioner,
Greetings!
You can cancel that power of attorney online.
We can do that for you; just need the last power of attorney and we need your passport to cancel that.
So it would be better if you contact us on WhatsApp number or via the email address.
Regards,

If it has mentioned the reason for approving the POA, then it can be used only for that particular case.
If you want, you can revoke the POA as well.
