Terminated from DMCC Free Zone company: What are my rights?

Please be informed that your entitlements depend upon the terms and conditions of your contract and the duration of your service. Generally, an employee in DMCC will be eligible for the following:

1. End of Service Gratuity (If the service is more than 1 year).

2. Outstanding salary and benefits: The employee should be entitled to receive any outstanding salary, allowances, or benefits owed until the date of termination. This may include unpaid wages, overtime, annual leave, or any other benefits specified in the contract.

3. Annual leave encashment: If there are any accrued but unused annual leave days, the employee may be entitled to receive payment for those days upon termination.

4. Notice period: Depending on the employment contract and the circumstances of termination, the employee may be entitled to a notice period or payment in lieu of notice.

5. Repatriation expenses.
