Traveling to home country after joining a new company with a visa in process
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have an offer from another company in Dubai. I currently work for a Free Zone Company in Dubai, and I joined last year on a 2-year visa. I will be moving with 1 year still left on my visa.
I have already informed my new company that I want to travel to my home country after 2 weeks of joining, and they have allowed me to do so.
However, I am worried that if my current employer does not cancel my visa on time and my new company is not able to process my visa in the meantime, I will not be able to come back to the UAE.
Can I show that my visa is in process at immigration, or should I go on without worrying, as both employers should deal with it?
Please help!

Dear Questioner,
Please ensure you complete the notice period and do a proper handover.
If they do not cancel your visa, you can file a labor complaint to cancel the visa, and the ministry will do the needful.
Just make sure you cancel your visa after you receive all your dues or you file a labor case before the court (for your dues) and not before.
