Checking travel ban in case of a pending court case
I am confused. If there is a court case against me, will there also be a travel ban and possibly an arrest warrant?
I want to return to the UAE to work and pay off a debt but I do not know which to check.
Is it better to check if there are any cases filed against me or does the check for a travel ban and arrest warrant cover all of that and more?
Hi,
If there is a criminal case against you, then there is a travel ban already in place.
The better option is to do a general checking whether you have a travel ban or not so that authorities do not stop you at the airport.
Further, If your visa is expired and you have a case, then getting a visit visa or tourist visa to travel to the UAE will be very difficult.
I would request you to get in touch with us on the phone for further assistance.

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I can understand your confusion and let me clarify it for you.
If there is a court case, then there will be a travel ban and arrest warrant only if the court has opened execution against you.
In the police case, there will be an automatic travel ban and an arrest warrant against you in the UAE.
It is advisable if you conduct a thorough inspection of police/ immigration records to understand if there are any cases or ban on you.
If there is a case, you can have it cleared remotely through a friend or a legal representative.
I trust you will now understand.
You may get in touch with me on email or phone for further assistance and clarification.
