I have been working for 4 and a half years and planning to resign. Do I get any benefits from the company?
Hi.
I have been working for 4 and a half years, and my contract is limited. Last June, my contract was renewed..
I’m planning to resign this coming October 2025.
Do I get any benefits or gratuity from the company?
Please give some advice.
Thank you…
Dear Sir,
Since you have worked for 4.5 years under a limited contract and plan to resign in October 2025, you are entitled to end-of-service gratuity for your continuous service.
For less than 5 years, gratuity is calculated as 21 days’ basic salary for each year of service.
Please also note that you need to give at least 30 days’ notice of resignation, and early resignation may require compensation for part of the remaining contract period.
If you need help calculating your gratuity or with your resignation process, feel free to ask.
Best regards.

Hello,
Since you have completed more than one year of continuous service, you are entitled to receive your pending entitlements when you resign, even if you are on a limited contract.
These entitlements include any unpaid salaries, compensation for unused annual leave days, end-of-service gratuity calculated according to your total years of service, and an experience certificate.
If you resign in October 2025, having completed around 4 years and 8 months, your gratuity will be calculated based on your basic salary, with 21 days’ wage for each of the first five years of service.
